Internship/Mentorship Opportunity
I am looking for someone to help me make The Entrepreneur Experiment podcast the number 1 business podcast in Ireland.
In return, I am offering full mentorship with me over the next 6 months to pursue your passion of starting your own business or a podcast (or both!).
Time commitment per week will be between 6-8 hours.
What is The Entrepreneur Experiment?
It is the largest independent business podcast in Ireland. 90,000+ downloads and consistently in the top 5 of the business podcast charts.
Each week, I chat with Ireland's best entrepreneurs, people such as Jamie Heaslip, Pat Divilly, Paul Galvin, & Pamela Laird about their entrepreneurial journey.
Who I am? I've created multiple startup companies, including most recently, HostButlers which was bootstrapped from zero to €500K yearly turnover in less than 4 years. I've lectured in business and entrepreneurship in Dublin Business School, Trinity College, Maynooth College & DCU.

Who I am looking for?
Attitude is everything. I want to work with someone who is a problem solver and has a positive attitude. You must be willing to experiment, take feedback and bring fresh ideas.
You must be able to work fast and not overthink.
A burning passion to start their own business and/or a podcast. I will do everything within my power to ensure we hit one or both of those goals during our time together.
Strong tech skills. You don't need to be able to code but I do want someone with a good understanding of tools like GarageBand, Canva, Google Suite and a general understanding of the social media space. You don't need to be an expert on all tools but you will need an above-average skill set. I will give you access to all those tools and training tools such as Skillshare to upgrade your skill set during the 6-month period.
This is a position only suited to people who wish to create their own podcast or business. It is an unpaid position and you will be receiving mentorship in lieu of payment.
What will you be doing?
Helping me promote and produce my business podcast & YouTube Channel, The Entrepreneur Experiment.
You will help me come up with fresh ideas to reach new listeners and keep our current listeners engaged.
Creating processes and systems to maximise the value in our current back catalogue of nearly 100 episodes.
You will create social media posts and campaigns to promote the podcast.
You will help me edit video content for YouTube.
Help write episode descriptions and briefs for upcoming guests.
What you will get?
A full structured mentorship with me over the next 6 months. We will identify your business/podcast goals and set up structures to help you hit those goals. We will have weekly planned sessions to work on your new venture or startup.
Access to training tools and software packages required to up skill and improve your current skillset.
I will provide you with the beginner equipment to start your own podcast.
Later in 2021, there could be the opportunity to move into a paid position with one of my other ventures. This is not a guarantee and will depend on many factors but will be an option.
Duration: 6 Months

Location: You can be anywhere in the world and the work will be 100% remote. It would be a bonus if you had a good knowledge of the Irish business scene.
